not slack off even if I am ever labeled the best rapper.

There is no doubt that there has to be some type of strategy in place to proceed forward with any goal that is in mind. Without that structure, it would be proven difficult to place a great opportunity in the forefront of success.
Shah Cypha has designed his blueprint to how his going to progress ahead; this includes having a focused mentality and realistic objectives.

With many prospective artists declaring their status in the music industry claiming their lyrical genius, Shah Cypha is taking a different route with his verbal detail. He is an artist that doesn’t deny the possibilities that come from music, but his motivation is developed into a much stronger musical bond because of his two children.   Shah Cypha is a parent that is setting a great example of leadership and excellence while on stage performing songs that he has written himself.  With six years in the music loop, Shah states his greatest inspirations are….

“because of my mother; who is  very music savvy.  And when I first heard method man, he was more of an inspiration for me because of his flow. I was writing poems when I was in seventh grade, I decided to write rap.  Then when I heard Biggie, I was inspired because we were from the same neighborhood. And when he died I felt that there was so much left on the table so I decided to go hard and be real serious as an artist.  It turned from a hobby to a dream and I have been following that dream ever since.”

Shah Cypha is a Brooklyn (New York) native that is presently residing in Newark, Delaware, one of the smallest states in the U.S.A.  The music market in Delaware are said to face great challenges for artists to get the proper radio play and stage recognition they need:

“To be honest, I don’t feel that the state of Delaware have the opportunity to blow. It is a very small market and it seems like no one pays attention to Delaware or come to Delaware to find artists.  If you are an artist in the state of Delaware, you would have to do it outside of Delaware and there are some great artists here.  There are some who confuses the Delaware with Philadelphia (PA) and that is what hurts artists that are in Delaware.”

Shah Cypha is pushing forward in an industry where hip hop music is presently re-shaping itself towards the next genre; he was also going through trends that placed him in the passageway of his own experiences:

Shah Cypha’s past:

“As far as music is concerned I always had a passion. Before I had kids I wanted to show the game that there are people in the east coast that have talent and that there are still people that write music and not just commercial.  Regardless if there is a song I like or not; it motivates me to keep going. I aim to write a song that will eventually become a classic to them”

Shah Cypha’s present:

"Now that I have children, my family is on stage with me in spirit. I have mouths to feed and a family to take care of. The whole strategy is more than music, it is because I have a family to think of.  The goal is to put out quality music for everyone.  At the end of the day, if I can feed my family with the gift that I feel that I have; I feel that I would have accomplished a lot.  I have a lot of talents, but this is the biggest talent that I have."

Shah Cypha’s Future:

"Even if I am ever labeled the best rapper, my work ethic is to make sure that I do not slack off. I am so dedicated and I go so hard, my goal is to always be focused and  If a person wants something specific, I am able to give the best of all worlds and provide my experiences. "

There is an old school song in that says……Mothers may have, Papa’s may have; but God blessed the child that has his own……For Shah Cypha, his vision is something he definitely owns and will be blessed for it!
