There is no question that DJ's are the key to flooding your tunes in the clubs, on the radio; which lands out the gates of the street. iFLOW is placing such professionals on blast for their outstanding performance and hard work.

How He Entered The Game:

 I wish I was good enough to be a singer. So since I’m not, I thought that DJ’ing would be great (LOL Just joking!).  I chose to be a dj.  I’ve been around other dj’s since I was 12 yrs old and it totally just rubbed off on me. Plus I l used to sit in my dad’s arms when I was a 2 yrs old and listen to music.  Its guess I really didn’t have a choice in the matter.  ha ha ha!

Business Involvements:

 I also work with 220 Records (www.220records.com) and STS Design & Print (www.smellthesmoke.com).  I’m looking to build on a few other things as well.  I don’t wanna be a one-dimensional person! I’ve been dj’ing in clubs and parties for 20 years  and doing radio for 6 yrs.  I actually work for WBLK in Buffalo, NY, 1.fm, and working on a few other ventures.  I also am a part of the following DJ crews: Core DJ’s,   Shadyville DJ’s,  LXG,  CGI, and  Da Entourage DJ’s. Oohhh….its been way too many mixtapes to name! (iFLOW showed below (see images)

G-Spot's Greatest Inspiration:

My greatest inspiration is my daughter and wife.  They keep me motivated in this game!  As far as mentors, I’d say DJ Pharris in Chicago.  He’s was one of the first dj’s to make the move from House Music to Hip Hop in Chicago, and I was making the transition around the same time.  I studied a lot of what he did in order to make that move!

Early Morning Thoughts:

How I can make money!!!!!!!   You know how it goes.  When you’re a full time dj, you gotta figure out ways to pay the bills.

Being Different & The Importance of Mixtapes:

A lot of dj’s jump on the mic.  I’m not dissing that cuz it does work, but I really try to be creative and play what they want to hear.  At the same time, I still gotta give them what I think they need too.  It makes a huge difference.  Radio won't play them (artists), so mix tapes is the only way for an independent or unsigned artist to get heard.  That’s something I believe in wholeheartedly.

Is It Easy For a DJ To Break Ground Compared To An Artist?:

Most definitely easier, because everyone wants to hear a good dj.  People have gotten wack music from so many artists now that they assume everyone of them is wack.  No one wants to hear wackness!

Last Words:

 (1)Get ready for a serious rollercoaster ride.  You gotta promote yourself heavy and keep grinding.  If you stop, everything else takes a hit.

(2)  I’m always doing events. My Thursday through Sunday is usually packed with events. During the week, I’m fielding special events and helping with the other ventures, setting up the next mixtape and trying to be a good husband and even-better father!  J 

(3) I know that the dj / mixtape industry is so saturated, so before you write me off as just another mixtape dj, know I’ve been dj’ing for 20 yrs and I know the game very well.  Oh, and also check out my websites:
