DJ. MESSIAH HI-FI:

THE STEEL IS STILL SPINNING
Written By: Duane Wilkins (718 ) 574-6807;   Edited By: Jewelz

There is a party going on and DJ Chris Messiah Hi- Fi is in the mix with the hottest and latest tracks; it is considered magical for a DJ to always have something for everyone to jam to.  It’s been an exciting seven years for Messiah in the world of cutting it up at every event possible while celebrating such success of watching people feel his grooves.  Music listeners and club-goers enjoy his talent and this is what the disc jockey’s gratitude is focused on the most.

Messiah's regimen averages three to five days a week for when he puts his steel in motion and keeps the wheels spinning.  However, the fun starts with working in different bar/lounges across the tri- state area.  “Everything is getting very technical and automated in the industry especially with the turntables.  “The equipment is much smaller,” explains the native New Yorker.  Even with the decreased size in stereo equipment, that doesn’t stop this beat announcer from tearing it up at every (and any) festivity.  Club, Reggae and Hip- Hop tunes may amplify from the system, but Messiah likes to receive requests and feedback from attendees.  “When five or more people ask me what did I play?  I take it that they are into the flow of sounds and having a good time,” says Messiah.

A big hand in what plays apart for any DJ to make it in the entertainment business relies on how they deal with people.  For this brilliant cut creator, it’s just listening and understanding the crowd. Messiah is consistently at your demand any time for service; he mixes and scratches it up for birthday parties, fundraisers, and weddings. The industrious DJ has plans of opening a lounge and doing film reviews.
